Qigong

Annie Bien is a certified Qigong instructor with Shifu Yan Lei.

The term Qigong is comprised of two Chinese words:
“Qi” which is often translated as breath or vital energy but for those who practice, it encompasses much more. My teacher, Shifu Yan Lei describes this as “a miniature universe” within us and “Qi is the inexhaustible energy of the universe that underpins all of existence.
“Gong” means work and time, and cultivation of our Qi. By working with our Qi, we balance our Yin and Yang energy, giving us vitality.|The sequences taught here are considered meditations because they require focus and calm in order to do them. If we get distracted in just one moment, the flow stops. A very good tool to calm or center oneself during the day.
